Great job on submitting your cover letter and other documents for your Housing Portfolio!
Now that we have your documents, your Education Specialist will review them to confirm that you have everything to finalize your graduation and double-check your eligible for the Rent Guarantee paired with Rent Well.
In addition to reviewing the documents we received, we are putting the final touches on your cover letter to wow a future landlord/property manager. This can sometimes take a week or two. You will receive an email with some follow-up questions, specific to your letter and experience. It is important that you respond within the requested time frame and provide as much information as possible to help with the drafting process. Please know that you do not need to rewrite your letter.
After the cover letter is cleaned up and all the other documents are accounted for, your Education Specialist will submit your finalized portfolio for review to their Supervisor. If everything is on the up-and-up, you will be approved for graduation, and your certificate will be created!
As noted, it might take up to 2 weeks before you receive the final copy of your cover letter or graduation certificate. However, if there is any urgency, like a potential housing opportunity, please let your Education Specialist know so we can prioritize your graduation review. Rest assured, we are doing everything we can to expedite your graduation from Rent Well!
