To complete your Housing Portfolio and get your Rent Well certificate, use your student portal to send each item to your Rent Well Education Specialist.


TIP: Don't wait until the last minute to complete your portfolio. You can upload documents throughout your 90-days in the course and it can take staff up to 2 weeks to review, edit, and finalize especially your Cover Letter with you. You will not be able to submit documents after your 90-day access period has ended. 


  1. Click on 'Your Housing Portfolio' on the homepage.
  2. This will take you to your Housing Portfolio feedback page.
  3. In the text field under Feedback Request, enter the title of the item that you are submitting for review, such as a sample rental application, cover letter, documents that verify your identity, income document, reference letter, other document, or other.
  4. Ignore all other field requests.
  5. Click on the paperclip icon to attach your document(s).
  6. Click "Post".
  7. If you want to add any additional comments for staff to review, after the item is posted, you can add those to the field that says, “Share comment with: Managers.”
