To enter a new student into your log, one at a time,


  1. In your student log, click the downward arrow next to "+ Add Task" and select "EXAMPLE A. Student" under Task Template


  2. This generates a new student in your student log under the Registered section.


  3. You still need to edit the name and user ID fields for this person. To do that, click on the name of 'task' (EXAMPLE: A. Student) and type the correct first initial, a dot, and the last name. Then do the same for the area under the User ID column and fill in the student's ID number. Note: You can do this directly on the list or in the board view, or you can do it in the detailed task side screen pop-up. All information will be populated in each view.


  4. When a student is added to your log, certain fields will auto-populate. 
    1. The Due Date, is set for 30 days from when you created the task/student in Asana so you can be reminded to check on your student at or before the 30-day mark to motivate them into starting the eCourse
    2. eCourse Stage is set to Registered 
    3. The Import Date is set to the date you created the task/student in Asana.
      *If you are not adding your students on the date they get access to the course, you will have to update the Import Date field too. 
    4. The 90-Day Date is set to 90 days after the import date. If the import date is manually changed, the 90-Day date will also be changed.
    5. The Ext Date is set to 104 days after the import date. If the import date is manually changed, the Ext date will be changed.
