The certificate will clearly state whether you are eligible to register the Rent Guarantee on behalf of the tenant. The Rent Well Program will do one final check for the student's eligibility when a landlord is registering the guarantee. To be eligible for the Rent Guarantee Program, the graduate must:
- Be a graduate of Rent Well within the last 18 months,
- Have low or limited income,
- Have at least one or more barriers to housing,
- Have never used the Rent Guarantee Program fund before, and
- The intent at move-in is that the tenant will be staying in the unit for at least 12 months.
