Rent Well CAN:

  • Help you understand your basic rights and responsibilities as a tenant,
  • Provide resources and tools to navigate your housing search,
  • Refer you to low-cost legal services and tax professionals,
  • Give you information about where to look for rental assistance or other services,
  • Help you to create a housing portfolio to use during the application process,
  • Show you what a landlord might see and look for when screening applicants,
  • Recommend tips to help overcome housing denials, even if you have passed barriers,
  • Teach you how to communicate effectively with a possible landlord, and 
  • Upon graduation, you will receive a graduation certificate to add to your portfolio. Based on your location*, your certificate may be paired with a landlord incentive fund, improving your chances of approval.
